We currently have an opening for a skilled Warehouse Coordinator at our Lenexa facility to provide customer service to our walk-in and call-in customers. This is a customer-facing position. Knowledge of products we distribute from our warehouse, such as grilles, registers, diffusers, exhaust fans, spiral pipe, and other HVAC accessories, is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Receive and stock products from manufacturers.
- Accurate creation and picking of customer orders.
- Pack orders for shipping.
- Understand products and ensure customer requirements are met.
- Document inventory movement through our system.
- Inventory control using web-based inventory management software.
- Experience with cycle counting and stock inventory replenishment is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in receiving phone calls and interacting with customers and coworkers.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time, sit, stand, bend, stoop, push/pull, and crawl.
- Use of mobile stairs, step ladders, and pallet jacks.
- Use small tools as needed for minor projects.
- Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm; 40-hour workweek.
- Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean warehouse.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Forklift experience: Order Picker, Swing Reach, and Electric Pallet Jack.
- Computer literate. Ability to use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams), as well as learn manufacturer-specific pricing and ordering programs.
- Dependable, proactive, detailed, and highly organized.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
